...you pretended you didn't hear your mom yelling out the door for you to come inside because it was getting dark. Remember how much you hated to be inside? Building forts in the backyard out of whatever you found at the construction site?

Smear the Queer....hahahahaha....

I hate the term PC. It should only mean personal computer.
Snags should just mean sausages, The inner child should mean the little kid who's not allowed outside. I think we over analyise, over regurgitate and over remember and we should strive to look forward and forgive and forget and then just live!!!!

That's what I think anyways.....(even if it wasn't very personal computerish)
There can be only one,
The Gasman:eek:ut:

:)
They really were good old days, were'nt they?

On the bright side, the USSR isn't pointing 30,000 nukes at us anymore and kids don't get Polio and have to live in iron lungs.

I was born in '67 and I cherish the early '70's..heck, I loved that whole decade!

Times seemed so much more innocent and simple back then.......

.....let's see.. the Vietnam war on the news every night....sexual revolution in full swing (pardon the pun)....watergate....the moonies brainwashing everyone...all that tension between AIM (American Indian Movement) and the Feds at Wounded Knee (at least in my neck of the woods)....those nuclear fallout shelter signs everywhere..... well, it "seemed" more innocent and simple....and you know... to a six year old..it was.

:nixon:

Great posts y'all.. you know, I think maybe I grew up in your home town....... as it is much like I remember mine. How odd is it that so many of you grew up in the Nebraska panhandle?!?...

Thanks for that post Dee, Good to reflect on.
I may be "pissing in the wind" But little CJ (www.cjmanning.com) gets 1 hour of TV in the morning, and an hour at night, thats all.
We try to stimulate her with other things as much as we can,
She reads All three (air,32 and 36) tables twice a day.:D

putting a penny on the record player needle to keep it from skipping the record
