does anyone use this system?

do you like it and what do you use it for?

my application is single diver commercial work where I need to talk to my surface man or buddy to hand a tool over or too give specific instructions...

The AGA which is very similar to the OTS mask has been used for many years for light commercial diving. Personally I did not like the AGA because the nose block is knind of an after thought and it is very buoyant under water. You can probably pick up a used band mask or EXO 26 on ebay for a good price.

If you are on scuba and you are not carrying a bail out that is plumbed to the mask, than I would suggest the Kirby Morgan M48 because it has a removable regulator so you can switch to a redundant gas supply without removing the mask. With the OTS and the AGA you can't do that so you really need a second scuba mask and an additional second stage regulator (i.e. octopus).
