In a word - BEAUTIFUL! The water was a warm 83 at 120 feet. The viz was over 100 feet and the seas were calm. What more can you ask? Well we located my friends the Octopus and gave them some blue crabs. The larger one that lives in the pipe at about 80 feet had her whole face sticking out of the pipe when we arrived for our visit. She remained mostly outside the pipe while she had her picture made. What a ham she is for the camera!

Both days were beautiful and now that the 'traffic' has slowed we are seeing more fish. The viz was amazing! It is better than it has been all summer. We should name this the Summer of the Algae Muck! :rofl3:

October has always been my favorite month for diving and if this weekend was any preview - October is going to be great again!

If you have been waiting all summer - now is the time. Call Captain Douglas at 850-291-2109 or MBT (Jim what's your number?)

Oh by the way - Two tech divers - Scott and Bill - were on the boat this weekend and got some great video of the props. MBT should have the video on the big screen in the store this week if they don't already. The great viz really helped Scotts video and Bill did an cool job of towing him (with his camera running) with the scooter. Really need stuff to see. If you get a minute drop by the MBT and have a look. You'll love it.

Hi! I went too Sunday. H20. it was awsome. my first wreck dive, working on my advance. and yes the video from MBT is excellent! we watched some of it when we got back to the shop. I want to go back soon! if we were on the same boat, which one were you? I was with my son.

Is there anywhere that we can see the video if we are not able to "stop by the store"? I would love to see it....especially on what sounds to be such a beautiful vis day.

Hey Lisa - I'm Donna your new favorite dive buddy!

I'll ask Jim with MBT to put it on there website or on youtube. He is the master of all that is digital!

Hi Donna! such a small world isn't it??
I can't wait to get back, hopefully in October as was recommended to me. :)
let me know if Jim gets it up on the web site. I posted some photos of the trip and the octopus earlier today.
