How do you folks with limited space organize your gear, especially while it is drying? I have a 2.5 room apt. with a bathroom so small that many Americans couldn't even use it ;) This means I have a stall shower and no tub and my gear spends a lot of time in there. The house my apt. is in was built 205 years ago so there are also no closets and I am hoping somebody can suggest to me a way to organize my stuff so it doesn't look like a dive locker threw up all over my livingroom all the time. ;)

I use the big (about 3 ft) clear stackable storage tubs with lids. All the gear can be stored and stacked in one spot. Plus, using the clear tubs lets you easily check while you're packing for a dive to make sure you haven't forgotten anything.

Sorry Gidds , I'm in the same boat as you are ... 1 closet - 2.5 rooms - small bathroom = living room looks like a dive shop at times , lol
I keep my gear in one of those "Stanley" 30" rolling tool boxes (except my wetsuit) ... right now It's in the living room , no place to put it ... I'm no help to you am I?

Put a hide-a-bed or futon in the Living room and convert your bedroom to a dive locker, I mean c'mon where are your priorities! :D

The bedroom is full of snakes and lizards ;) It has been suggested that I ditch the furniture, put velcro on one wall, and buy fuzzy pj's so as to sleep upright and conserve floor space ;)

I use a rubbermaid action packer. I can fit all my gear in here with no problem. Best thing is that it doubles as a rise tub when i get back from the dive site. Hopes this helps!

Thats what we did. Storage, rinse bucket and coffee table all in one. Works great.
