In case anyone was wondering, the (current) thread sizes are the same (in fact I would say they are both from the same OEM)

I changed the OPV cap on my Eclipse for an OMS one, because I prefer having a 'knob' on the end of the string rather than fiddling to grab the knot on the standard Halcyon item (maybe there's some great reason not to do this, if so please share)

I also changed the wing nut bolts that connect the wing/backplate for (flat) Dive Rite ones, so they don't intrude into the pocket area of the storage pak

That's not news since lots of other people have done it - but I had to buy a new male bolt for the upper one to go with the DR female, because the DR transpac bolt isn't long enough, as the upper bolt on the Halcyon BP has to go through the harness webbing as well, unlike the lower bolt (and they're a different thread)

FYI

Most likely they are from the same source.

Pull knobs or "toggles" have a tendency to get trapped. Wrapped around and through the left hip dring, or caught between Stage or deco bottles.

A thick cord with a nice knot is all that is really required.
