of note, the Dive Rite Nomad XT is really the only rig that can do singles/doubles/CCR/sidemount reasonably well in the same rig. The SMS75/100 can as well but the wing gets compressed too much wearing backmount units and causes too much of a reduction in lift.
The XT is not the best at any of those though.
Singles it is just too big for what you actually need
Doubles it puts too much lift at your butt and exacerbates the natural tendency of doubles to be head heavy
CCR is actually pretty good but it has mounting limitations with most rebreathers that make it annoying
Sidemount is fine, but it's a big rig and there others out there that do it better.
