Anyone have the Sherwood Avid BC. Would like some opinions before I purchase.

I've owned my Avid since 2003. I'm size XL. it's very comfortable to dive in, the double buckles practically eliminates the possibility of tank slippage. Moving from weight belts to weight integrated was like night and day. I'd never go back. I laso have the Akona kit which includes a small retractor and backup dive light, large retractor for your console and a blunt tip knife.

I think you'll be really happy with it.

Had mine for 3 years and dove with it Great Lakes and many northern destinations.

Favorite feature has to be the double tank straps and a very good inflator/dump system.

Cheers.

had mine for a bit over 2 years now and did have a look at the new 2007 model i have to say i thought it had some improvement -sorry cant remember what exactly-. i must agree with the guys it is really comfy and the 2 straps are quite neet. if i have to give you drawbacks here s only 2 i could think of and they might not really be some: if you re planning on travelling, it s little too big; and it the pockets might be just a bit not big enough, then again that s all a matter of taste and necessity, i compared mine to the selene i bought for my girlfriend and just loved the pockets on hers...
overall i do think you ll love it.
