Opinions on the combination of these two threads?

I'm interested in peoples' opinions on possible conclusions regarding the following:

A recent thread on TDS regarding the woman cave diver's death due to oxtox (which includes other references to oxtox deaths),

combined with the other TDS thread about a california diver finding his deco gas tasting like ammonia, wherein it's noted that some valve seats for high percentage O2 deco bottles are flash vapourizing when being either filled or opened.

These were O2 cleaned valves. Several alarming chemicals were discussed as a result of the valve seats flash burning.

Is it just me, or is there an interesting picture emerging regarding high percentage deco O2? (I dive it )

There is an interesting correlation between women on birth control pills and oxtox too. I wonder if that has been a factor in some oxtox cases of 3 young women in the last few years.
