Operator for photographers Whale Sharks Isla Mujeres

We are planning a trip to Isla Mujeres in late August. Does anyone know of any whaleshark trip operators down there who run day trips for photographers? I shoot video and there is no point in going down there if I am on a boat with tons of regular tourists.

Only 2 snorkelers & the guide are allowed in with one at a time. However many there are on your boat, the rest will be onboard while you swim.

There is an outfit that charters specific photographer trips to Isla Mujeres. The price includes being on their chartered boat and special methods employed to ensure participants are getting a very different experience from the 'tourist' boats. Use google and I'm sure you will find it. Other than that I know of no operators down there that are catering to photographers, there is way more money to be made catering to thousands of tourists than a handful of photographers.

THERE ARE NO OUTFITS THAT CATER ONLY TO PHOTOGRAPHERS, we all cater to all that wish the service. THERE ARE NOT MANY OPERATORS, THERE ARE MANY TRAVEL AGENTS AND WEB SITES. THE FEW OF US OPERATORS LIKE US ARE BASED IN ISLA MUJERES AND FROM THERE COME TO MAINLAND TO TAKE OUR TOURS FROM CANCUN. All Operators have either one or 2 boats or several, there are big ones that charge more, smaller ones that charge less, whatever you do, take your tour with a direct operator. Avoid the "travel agent" commission.

Delphino on Isla does it, but I do not recommend his services. We just dove with him on his boat and were not impressed.
