Doeas anyone made a Light Controller and whant to share infos?

I need to regulate the power output of my battery pack and drive my lamp head at the 10 - 50 - 100% of the power by switching some kind of momentary button (piezo or reed). I bought a Dive Light Genie, but it costs half the price of the entire project :(

I'm no expert, but I don't think this will work on HID lights. Hallogen, yes. You didn't say which you were using.
