I have an idea of building an online dive log system for divers to use.
Just trying to get some opinions from diving folks here.
Would you use it instead of a paper log or as a suplementory logging?
Or do you think it is a bad idea?
What if you could log your dives from your cell phone or PDA?

While I know I am new to posting here, I have this nagging suspicion, that dherbman has a sarcastic side. eyebrow

Please move to the head of the class.

You do realize that there are already several places where you can log your dives online. Some are free, some are pay sites. A quick online search will bring up many.

I have a lot more confidence in the longevity of a dive log that cannot be dropped into the bit bucket, by forces outside of my control.

I may use one , but i wouldnt log all my dives

There are a ton of them out there, and AFAIK they're rarely used and often go neglected. How would you make yours worth using?

THANKS! While here, so close to the teacher(s) I am tempted to ask you AL, after looking at your avatar, where do YOU stand on MOF?
I am a firm believer in Mcdonalds Off Freeways.
