OK, how about this one... it sure looks like a grouper and apart from a slight color variation, the pattern looks like the photos of the Blacktip Grouper on Fishbase, etc... (Epinephelus fasciatus). However, they say that it is mainly an Indo-Pacific fish...

Is there a caribbean cousin (maybe with slightly darker tones) that anyone knows about? Or is this guy just lost...
