And Al isn't.... Sorry Al, I'd love to dive with you there, but that will have to wait. Enjoy this fine weather we've been having and keep thinking about Roatan!

I'd love to hook up with a local for a dive or ten. I plan on doing at least one boat dive, but will be primarily doing early morning shore dives.

How are gear prices there? I'm in need of a 5mm full one piece and am not sure I'll have time to buy from my friendly LDS before departure.

Thanks in advance to any takers.

Gear prices aren't bad dude and since you didn't come in and order it we'll have a little trouble getting it for you in time :)

Hey Tim, you'd like diving with Dave, he's a DIR candidate. I tried to talk sense to him but to no avail.

I'll be in tonight, but have had a hell of a week. Paul said he could get a suit in 4 days, but I'm always about contingencies.

Unfortunately Tim won't be there when I am.

Still 4 days is cutting it close. Hey you haven't talked to them about dive con, they're thinking I'll have no one to teach :)

I forgot Tim is gone.

Can we do it in Maui? I'll talk to the PTB tonight and make the required arrangements. So, it's a private class?

No addidtional charges I'm sure.

Just spoke with Brad, make arrangements for any boat diving now as it's very busy with the whales showing up finally. They saw a whale breech 3 times yesterday. The boat fills up fast. I'd give them a phone call at 808-875-2861.

Thanks Al, I'm booked for 2 dives.

I'm also signed up for the DM class, but shouldn't we wait until it cools off a bit?

Will be in Maui 3/10 - 3/19. Based in part on Al's and others' recommendations on this board, I just booked B&B for three dives while I am there. Can't wait! We are staying in Kahana area, so I dropped a pm on Tim to see if he will be around for a shore dive or two. Going with non-diving extended family, so looking into Maui Ocean Center dive too, so they can all be amazed at how "brave" I am to dive with sharks... <laugh> I keep telling my wife that my insurance is all paid up, so she should be okay...

Steve

Glad to hear it Dave. You're someone that I actually want to use after they graduate.

Steve you'll love your experience. We've stayed up by Kahana and don't even consider diving with any operations up that end any longer. The boat trips are way too long for my liking and B&B has earned my repeat business :)

Non diving family members, what purpose do they serve anyway?

I say that only after my wife finally got certified 4 years ago. She's hooked now.
