I have an OMS Steel 125 CU ft tank for sale, with DIN valve. I used it for Nitrox diving a few times, but no longer need it. It's in excellent condition. Needs a hydro. Tank has been in climate controlled closet when not in in use.

The tank was born in April 1997, re-inspected in March of 2002.

New tanks go for close to $500. I'm asking $200. This is a great deal! Even after getting it hydro'd you will still be way ahead. I am willing to ship, at your expense. Call me at (972) 875-9018 or email.

New tanks go for close to $500!! Hope you didnt pay $500, because you got ripped off if you did!!
$200 is a decent deal though, good luck

SB members, $200 for this tank is a great deal. The only reason I haven't bought it is because I dive HP tanks. I have emailed the owner several times and he is very responsive. If you like LP tanks, this one should be great.

g1223 - I didn't pay $500 when I bought it. I purchased it from a friend who purchased it new and used it once. I don't know what he paid. But from what I saw, they sell for close to it, once you get done with the hydro and vip. I used it a few times when I bought it. I don't do any diving that warrants nitrox any more, so here it is for sale.

F-in Mike - Thanks for your comments. I appreciate your input.

For anyone looking, it's available.

$200 is high for a tank that has been hydro'd twice and now needs a 3rd. You can find them new for less than 300.

I see OMS tanks selling for $495 new. If you are looking for a new cheap tank, it surely won't be OMS. The shop in New York that sold my friend the tank charged him for the hydro in addition to the sale of the tank. The dive local dive shops around here do that also.

A Hydro cost $65 here in Dallas, so I'm sure it's a comparable price elsewhere. So, for $265 you have a good tank, hardly used, for less than a new one.

If you don't feel it's worth it, that's fine, you don't need to buy it. I feel I'm selling at a fair price. The amount of interest I've received on it tells me it's a fair price. Unfortionately, everyone that is interested in it needs to have it shipped and that's where it get's pricey.
