OMS IQ Tech Backpack & Bladder

I need to hear from people that actually have the OMS IQ Backpack !

I am interested in buying one at the moment but I have heard about the problems with the bunged bladders and the other problems mentioned on here. I am thinking about buying an OMS IQ and OMS Bladder with retraction bands shortly and just want to hear if anyone has experienced any problems themselves and how did the problems occour and what they did to resolve the problem ?

I would like people to make suggestions also on which tech gear would the best gear... whether that is OMS or Dive Rite or Halycon or any other brands not mentioned ?? Also why and how are they compared ??

I sold my OMS banded bladder due to when I called some "higher ups" onj technical training...and they asked me what my gear was, and heard it was OMS, they quickly siad "it's not that banded crap is it?". That's why I quickly sold. I switched over to a DiveRite Classic wing with a harness and aluminum backplate. That's just what works for me, not necessarily the best.

It's way better than most setups around, cheaper to boot and great aftersales support.

What makes the Dive Rite or the Zeagle so much better ? The OMS is kinda like the Dive Rite but totally different, the IQ pack is a tech backpack that is totally custom and you can basically do any configuration on this.

I have looked at the Zeagle and the lift is only 45lb or something, have you ever used this with doubles ? I doubt that it would have enough lift but I may be wrong.

I have read on this site about the discussions about the retraction bands and I still havent found one person that has actually used this and had any problems with the OMS at all. There must be a reason why these BCD's are the choice for deep explorers, record breakers and artic divers... I have never heard Zeagle or Dive Rite mentioned in these same sentences.
