OMS Evoke second stage resembles a Hollis second stage (at least to me). If I recall correctly, the knob had a clutch mechanism. Hence you could rotate it infinitely. It makes a clicking noise when you reach the max/min points where on a Scubapro or Atomic, you can no longer rotate the knob.

Does this sound like the operation of a Hollis second stage?

ahh, yeah I haven't paid a lot of attention to that, but there is nothing particularly innovative about them. I'd rather not have a clutch on there, but I try to avoid Hollis second stages. Someone more familiar with those will have to comment.

@UTscuba if you want someone in particular to respond, feel free to tag us. Nearly guaranteed to get a response that way. Once threads get established and someone has already said whatever it is I would have said, I tend not to clutter the thread unless I'm tagged in there. I know many others are like that as well.

I have been looking and wondering the same if the Hollis LX 200 and the Evoque is the same regulator

I'd recommend avoiding that brand entirely... I'm sure the regs are fine, the company however, is not
Yea I love their gear but agree on the company. The OMS harness system for me is the most conformable way of diving doubles I have found I have been diving doubles that way since the 90's. And have been using the Airstream and Evoques for the last year.
