I saw OMS' 21w HID light on their website, but I've never heard anything about their lights on any of the discussion boards. How good are these lights. It seems like people would like the 21w lights over the 'common' 18w HIDs.

So, why doesn't anyone talk about them?

thanks,

Good Q, i'll be watching this one myself as well, I dive with a Sartek 10 Watt HID, and love it, and have a light canon as back up, my friend has the 18 Watt, awsome light, ive been thinking of getting the OMS 21 Watt HID also, alittle pricey, so im waiting, 18's seem more popular for some reason, OMS makes a nice light though, well have to wait and see ;)

Yeah, I would think people would want the most power, but it doesn't look like anyone even cares about them. It's been 12 days without a single reply...........

Used my new H.Sandroff/Divelightman 21w HID with EKPP reflector for the first time this weekend. Incredible flame thrower that was able to cook shrimp and fry fish in 52F water.

I have one. It throws an incredible amount of light. My only complaint with it
is the size -- it's big (both the light head and cannister). I usually only take it
on deep dives (where I'm carrying doubles anyway), some night dives (sometimes
it's overkill) and to some of the longer lava tubes around Kona.

I'm actually carrying it in my avatar picture ...
