Olympus E-PM1 will not fire below 20 metres using Olympus PT-EP06L u/w housing

Good to hear. I have the same camera, oly housing, and it has worked great even below 100 fsw, and water temps around 40 degrees F.

There are small tolerance differences between cameras, especially the buttons. Maybe one of your buttons extended a little further out, and the pressure at depth was enough to engage that button and interfere with taking pictures.

The manager at Maluku Divers (Ambon, Indonesia) said the same thing last April. Seems that's the problem but I'm not sure which button was being contacted under pressure.
