The large file size and saving time results in a long shot-to-shot delay - which pretty much makes it useless for action shots.lukeROB:No worries. So since jpg is a pretty good compression algorithm it is safe to say that shooting TIFF is pointless ?
If I didn't have RAW, was shooting a landscape scene or even studio still life and needed to make reasonably large prints I would shoot in TIFF to get the cleanest possible image.
