Hi there,

I'm using an Oly C7070 setup with single INON D2000 strobe. I took mainly macro shots using dual stacked INON macro lens. Now the question on which focus mode to use? I've tried using AF but the results is terrible, blurred images esp for nudibranchs when using the macro lens. So, I've been using MF since. I've tons of OOF images when there are currents too. Also, when using macro lens, do I need to use the macro mode from the camera? The supermacro mode does not work. I'm now considering getting a focus light to help in focusing. Should I use the focus light with AF or MF? Thanks.

try set up camera on macro and shoot in manual..choose highest # f stop available for depth of field..shutter speed 1/160 or higher,I use 1/200 and faster..

Hi Jovin

I bought a focus light and saw a huge improvement in the sharpness of my images - it really does help.

I generally use F 11 , ISO 80 , 1/125 but you can easily increase this to 1/250 as stated above . I shoot in macro mode for all of my photography.
