Hello I also have a C750 with a PT 018. Take a look at some of my pics in my gallery. The first tip I have for you is play with the settings for the camera out of the water. Find out how to set the white balance. 2nd, put the camera in the case and then take some pics with it. 3rd, make sure that you keep the o-ring undamaged. If the o-ring gets damaged replace it. 4th, Only use Olympus grease on the o-ring. 5th, Only use a small amount of grease on the o-ring. 6th, I store the o-ring in a zip lock bag when not in use. I have more tips if you want them.
MWrager, i have the same setup as you and would like any tips you can rpovide. Been getting allot of "blue"in my photos. Someone sadi to try and set the camera for "rainy day" but don't have that setting, can you get the same affect by using the white balance? Also thinking about getting some external ighting and would appreciate any tips.
Regards,
Scott

To clear blue you need to perform manual white balance at depth and when depth changes 10-20 ft. External strobe only helps a couple of feet away.

Did you note that this thread was 3 years old? Not many of these cameras running around these days.

Did not realize it was sold old. When you say "play with the white balance" can you elaborate? Any suggestions on underwater photo courses or books/articles/websites? Thanks for your help.

Alcina has many stickies on the scubaboard that helps with basic info.

White balance is a function of the camera to make up for the spectrum of light present (sort of). At depth the light that is absorbed can be corrected by using the white balance in the manual setting to correct the color. The C-750 has manual white balance. In a setting other than auto WB comes up with the menu. The manual white balance is set as per the owner's manual with the camera focused on a white or just off white object. Many people use a slate for instance. When the white balance is set at a certain depth it is good for about 10 ft up or down in depth. Re balance after significant depth change.

Sorry, this likely seems kind of cryptic, but if you search the board more info is available.
