Rugby was an Olympic sport but got cancelled because on the first match on the first day there was a fight (not going to mention who was involved as this is a mainly American board) so it was cancelled.

Oh and about the underwater cameraman, do you just mean the women? :eyebrow: But seriously. Our club rents out a diving pool every week for practice and training and they have little rooms on the side with glass in front of them so the people who film dont actually have to get wet.

Bull (shark) riding? :hai:

Scuba isnt (shouldnt!) be a competetive sport.

All the "i can go deeper than you" stuff has no place in diving.

Suppose you could try to introduce Octopush into it but the way we play that its equally as dangerous as rugby.

If scuba was a sport, it should be limited to: fastest time to the water (From gearing up to completed shore entry in 3 foot surf) and cleanest (non-crawling) shore entry and exit.

And on a side note, re-introducing chariot racing would be kinda fun to watch.

Well...
Diving is an olympic sport...

But it's a different kind of diving.

What could be done, I suppose is freediving.

What fun is that??? The whole idea is to get wet...LOL

Just think of the routines you'd see if the Syncronized Swimming pairs could use scuba...

I'm really surprised there aren't more synchronized swimmers in scuba diving.
