Oly UFL-1 strobe

has anyone tried the oly ufl-1 strobe? the olympus website says it allows TTL on slave mode without need of a sync chord.

any thoughts on this? i hope this doest lead to a debate on TTL vs manual settings...:no

I emailed Cathy Church's operation in the Bahamas and asked her about this strobe. She stated that they tried them with the Oly SP350 units they rent and didn't like them at all. The pattern and output wasn't great, so she shipped them back to Oly.

ok thanks. was thinking of getting the sp 550uz and hoping it would do well with together since it means savings since i dont have to get the arms and the sync cord.
