Oly e-3000 PT-E01 availabile yet??

:06: Anyone heard news about pricing and availabilty for the PT-E01 housing? I have an E-300 that's just waiting to get below the water surface.

Last I heard was ETA June 2005, so hopefully it'll be sometime soon. Indicative prices are 150,000yen for the housing and 50,000yen for the 14-45 port.

Why wouldn't you get an Ikelite? They are a far superior housing than the Oly's and are available NOW!!

Well they finally released more info on ports:

150,000 yen, that would be around $1100 and the port price is quite expensive as well. For that price, I probably would just go with Ikelite if I use Olympus. If flat port is around $400, I wonder how much the domeport will be?
