Hello all,

I have an Olympus Camedia C60 with an underwater housing (made and dedicated by Olympus). I've been using the camera's strobe, but it really doesn't do the job. Does anybody know if this camera can use an external strobe?

Also, where can I get some extra packets of dessicant?

Thanks for your help and support,
Doug :help:

I have a C-50 (basicly the same camera) and I have used the D-180 and dual D-180's with the camera. Works wonderful, just make sure you have the magnet set corectly... Ryan at ReefPhotovideo helped set mine up for me. Great Guy!!

Thanks guys for your useful information. I'll do a search for the Inon D180. Also, thanks for the link on the dessicant. I ordered some tonight.

Cheers,
Doug

Hi, me again,

I did some web searching, and I've found sites for both the D-180 and the D2000 strobes. They're both running about $500. Here's my question now: Obviously (I think) I'll need an attachment arm, or does the strobe come with one? There are a couple that Inon lists, but there's really no information as to what the differences are. Is it just the distance or length of the arm itself? I'm assuming that the camera affixes to the arm by using the tripod screw at the bottom. Is that true?

Cheers,
Doug
