I just returned from the Caymans with tons of pictures. Some turned out good but others seemed to have too much blue. Is there a filter that I can use when taking pictures to offset the blue?

There are filters being used but it's getting hard to find the good ones and they aren't cheap. They help somewhat but won't remove it.

the easiest way to control the blue is...

1) get closer to your subject
2) use a strobe or the internal flash
3) use manual white balance, I don't remember if you have that option on the 3030.
4) use a program like Photoshop, PSElements, PaintShop Pro, etc. to adjust the photos.

Yeah, what Dee says. You can get "some: color back in using editing software though...all depends on the photo. Or you can go in and color it yourself.
