I just don't log dives
I wonder whether there is interest among non buckaroo divers in trying to get dive operations (in Coz. for example) to run quality single tank dives. Hit the better sites and head home.No surface intervals (so less hold the bladder and don't freeze time) and operators could possibly run three shots a day not including night dives.
As I pass on seventy I find more and more appeal in the first dive and less in the second, mainly for physical reasons.

Personally I try to go out on boats that have a head and don't take my diuretics until after I get back to the hotel. But I'm only 64 so my attitude may change ;)

I am waiting for waterproof depends ... but I am sure there are lots of single tank trips in the afternoon

at a third of your age, I obviously don't have this issue, however on the bladder front, if you are travelling with your own wetsuit, you may want to consider using condom cath's and either a p-valve or just run the hose down your leg. I have p-valves in both of my wetsuits and it is truly wonderful. also means that while the suit is on, you can go from the deck with no issue like we do in drysuits

I doubt that the operators would spend the time and fuel to drive out to sites three times a day rather than stay out for 2-3 dives. I think your best option would be a private boat or shore dive in front of the hotel. When I was in Cozumel I did not enjoy the boat dives due to the current. I had a much better time making a shore dive at Scuba Club Cozumel.

That's my take on it. For pee I do just run a hose down the wetsuit pants that's the "correct" flexibility--not too stiff to inhibit kicking, but stiff enough to allow for quicker "flow through" the wetsuit. Still a good idea to rinse suit with baby shampoo. I've only been on one charter that didn't have a head for SI intervals. I do wonder what they do for #2s, other than recommend a Warhammer. They probably go out several time weekly in summer so no doubt have encountered that problem.

There might be a market though. It would also help folks that fon't have a full day but would love to catch an AM dive, also those whose significant other won't grant them a full day's leave.

I have heard that the reef is out to the left from SCC. Is that correct? No doubt I will end up there again this December. So far I've only snorkeled from the shore there.

Did they let you stay there without including/paying for the two-tank dives every day? I've only gotten their package deals.

When I was in Costa Rica #1 is what the boat ladder was for and "please swim away downcurrent from the boat for #2."
