I remember reading somewhere (I thought it was here, but can't find it) that someone was making a coffee table out of old Scuba tanks. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Basically I have some old steel 80s that failed inspection and are just sitting in my basement, and I figured they'd make a nice looking set of table legs.

Anyone tried this before? I'll let you know if I have any success!

I've seen them made into lamps, but not into a table. Did look pretty cool though.
