This is a fairly typical design for a regulator from the early 1970's. Generally they're not worth much 2nd hand because they're too old to be popular alternatives to modern regs and not old enough to be collector's items.

I've also heard some stories that the A-clamp on some of these old regulators could potentially be a weak spot. I believe Auqalung even had to recall one of their regs because of this and started using a more robust A-clamp design around 1976.

It was common back in the day to work the date of manufacture into the serial number. Can you look for the serial number and post it? It might give you more clues as to the origin/age of the reg. You'll normally find the serial number stamped on the 2nd stage between the bit and the exhaust vent.
