WOW! Amazing pics! How many dives did it take you to collect that many awesome photos?
I have 228 dives there but didn't begin taking still photography until two years ago. Most of the pictures in the gallery are from the past year.

I can't remember hearing Old Marineland before DiveVets. The name of the park was Marineland of the Pacific. I always tease Merry when she says it. I tell her I'll write a dive report and list my buddies as Old Merry, Old Scott, Old Claudette...:)
Hey!!!!! Somebody else here also arrived in 1959.... practically yesterday! :babycrawl

As to the name of the site, of course we all know that it's REALLY The Garner Dive Park :D .

Dr. Bill is still waiting for the re-christening of Bushing Bay down in LoCal, but we've seen photographic proof of Long Point's true name. Does eJ still have that wonderful marquis available??

228!??!?! :god:

Out of curiosity, is there a distinction between Marineland and Old Marineland? I've always heard them used interchangeably.
It is the dive site located at the former location of that old Marineland waterpark. Past tense, in the case of marineland, so at one point someone stuck "old" in front of "marineland" and it kinda stuck. There is no more Marineland, obviously, just a vanishing-few vestiges. So no, no real difference. OML is certainly a lot faster to type. :)
