Can anyone remember the name (or even better, have a picture) of the Sherwood reg with the funny-shaped (kind of triangular) primary second stage? It kept your mouth moist, like the ellipse-shaped "Oasis." I bought it in 1991 and it was my favorite!

I think is the maximus! With flow adj

Regards

At early 90's Sherwood were quite popular in Brazil!
When the Maximus was released, it was very talked about here, but it doesn't became too popular around the country, probably because of the higher price, but Brut and Oasis were still very popular until early 00's
I've saw the maximus at an expo in my City (220 miles from the sea) when it just arrived in Brazil! I would Love to buy it, but dad refused to gave money for his 13 years old son buy scuba gear!

I had a maximus....I liked it...had no issues with mine...eventually went to Poseidon Odins
Poseidons are THE beast IMO

I have a few Maximus regulators. Seem good to me.

And they have actually re-released the Maximus my understanding is it’s basically an SR 2 with an under the arm hose.
