I think I'll stick to finding golf balls! :jester:

If you want to find bottles try old river moorings, I have been diving a stretch of river moorings recently the bottom is like a rubbish dump, but it is so full of bottles. Would anyone like some 1895 beer bottles, some with the corks and lead seals and contents still intact, the beer's not drinkable, try the Wallachia, in the Clyde, the brewery they came from still exists.

...seems like it would be a hoot, especially when you find those "keepers". I have a question though. Please don't think I'm a moron I'm just sorta bottle-challenged. What determines a keeper? Is it based on the age of the bottle? Are any resources available to determine what kinds of bottles to search for or that one can use to determine a bottle's age/origins?

Thanks in advance guys,

Billy

wvrotorhead--I've seen books at places like Barnes & Nobles and Joseph Beth Booksellers about bottles or any other item that people would collect for that matter.
