Dive Rite Pull dumps work, and I probably have an extra one.

Thx all was thinking the DR would work but not sure. I have transitioned her over to a BP/W and will be her first one. I know she likes to use it on the one she has now just didnt want her to be uncomfortable.

You do know that you're adding a failure point and that all she needs to do to vent the wing with the corrugated hose is to raise it and push a button, right?

I transitioned from a pull dump equipped BCD to an Oxycheq wing on a backplate and never once missed having a pull dump.

You do realize how many failure points you add by using a balanced diaphragm 1st rather than an unbalanced piston.

I have tried to talk my wife out of her pull dump to no avail.

Yes, but I don't pull on my first stage all the time. ;-)

Good luck to you and your wife.

I'm not a big fan of the pull dump either, but this thread wasn't about it's merits or flaws, and I was trying to keep quiet for once.

Guess that didn't work.....

I'd suggest not trying to screw EITHER type of 1st-stage directly into the bladder....just sayin'. :)
