I am going to visit my father in Okinawa and may try to get in a few dives while I am there.

What's the water temperature this time of year? Can I dive there in a 1mm?

Any suggestions for nice dives?

Thank,
Andy

Water temp 23C day before yesterday. Most people using 5mm or so and some of us in dry suits. But then again we think anything below 27 is freezing.

The southern parts of the island- Channel Crevaces, Kudaka Island, Gushikami Castle, and Southern Links are all great spots this time of year. Sunabe and Maeda are always good if the wind is right. Lots of fish about and the viz is outstanding. We send boats and shore dives out everyday.
