Hi EveryOne, I am trying to find a good spot to dive on Sat & Sun. I seems as though every beach that avoids the 6 foot swells

is full of bacteria and has warnings posted. I am looking at Big Rock but Topanga Beach has signs posted, as does Malibu Pier. Do you guys think that these postings will make a difference at Big Rock?

I am up for any other suggestions. I was also thinking maybe Shaws Cove but there is signs post at laguna also.

Thanks,

Thomas

Malibu was very muddy and the surfers were out in force Thursday. I just came back from checking out conditions around Palos Verdes. The west side has six foot surf at ten second intervals. The south side has three foot surf and the mud extends about one mile offshore. Another dry weekend for me!

Yeah, here's an image from the Surfline camera showing the Palos Verdes point this morning, looking from RAT/Malaga. Pretty nasty.

Swimming Pool if you have one. For me and the other unfortunates, our bath tubs.

i done 4 pool dives in the last 3 weeks because of the ocean.. to cheep to pay for a boat... but im know im going to nail my divemaster praticals now :)

I would definitely avoid Big Rock for the moment. Malibu east of Point Dume is probably on of the worst places you could go with respect to vis. You could try marineland on Sunday if you want, I posted a dive report from Thursday, it was certainly diveable. I'll bet shaw's cove is ok tomorrow too.
