# of dives
I had students out at OGB all weekend. For one reason or another I got very little sleep saturday night, and as a result I was feeling pretty chilled by dive #2. I had planned to meet there with buddies after my cert dives were over but i was beginning to think it was a bad idea given how cold I was already. So I basically stayed in my wetsuit for a few hours while I did paperwork with the certs and set up my video gear.

Boy am I glad I did...

In the water a little after 3:00, we went out at a 0 heading, essentially off to the left. At about 40 feet, we began to encounter some dogfish of varying size. We waited and waited, and eventually they started to become more and more friendly to the point that they were actually bumping my video housing with their noses. Easily the most interactive New England dive I've ever done, and among the best dives I've done anywhere.

I've got video, but does anyone know how I would post it on the board?

If it's digital video, you could upload the file to a web server and provide a link.

Where is OGB? Why all the abbreviations on this site. I need a a scubaboard to english dictionary just to read here.

I was at Halfway Rock near Marblehead a couple of weeks ago and had a school of dogfish surround us. It was beautiful and gave me a new respect for a fish I have always hated when fishing.

After a while of participating and reading you understand all of the acronyms. And, if you post a lot, the acronyms make it faster to participate. I noticed you are from Beverly as well. Do you boat or beach dive primarily?

I have a boat that I keep at Port Marine in Beverly. I haven't been from shore yet but I will this winter I'm sure. Probably at the OGB too. How about you?
