Dove Old Garden Beach today up in Rockport. As usual it was a nice dive. Viz was great (30-40') with the water a steady 41degrees out to 45'.

In the off-season do the local police enforce the "Resident Only" parking at Old Garden Beach?

You can park on the road right by the beach on weekdays. On weekends/holidays you have to drop off your stuff and park down the street a bit.
IME, as long as the wind is blowing West, 30-40' viz is pretty normal for the winter on the North Shore. It's pretty nice to look up from 40' and see you flag.

Thanks for the report! I'll have to get out soon. Yesterday or today would have been an ideal time to go. During the off season, I park on the side of the road where I normally drop off during the 'high season', even on weekends. I have not had an issue.
