So, is the KPP offially dead?

I'll be doing group trips up to the quarry in just over a month...hopefully. Don't know if I'll be diving..but will be there, with meat to grill and beer to drink.

I would say there has been a touch of rigor mortis. I'm ready to get the winter
blues behind me. I'm thinking of starting a thread this spring to track the conditions
out at Falling Rock this year. It would be nice to have current conditions for the vis,
thermocline and temps for anyone planning to dive there.

Count me in on the meat and beer!!!

I don't believe the KPP is dead...just not out of hibernation quite yet. Let's hope everyone starts planning on diving and camping soon. I got a new tent during the fall clearance sales, so I am ready to try it out.

You son of guns never camped. I can't wait for camping season to start up..I meant to say diving season, yeah that's it. I usually have 3 tents with me in case some homies decide to stay over or simply can't drive......

I worked for blackbears 8 yrs. ago. I'm thinking of heading down in August for a week of boozin on the boat.

I check this area of the board most every day, but I rarely post anything. Most the divers from my neck of the woods (W. KY, S IL) use the Midwest section. I'd like to see some more activity here.

BTW, I'll be up to Lexington next weekend. Not diving though--UK cheerleading tryouts for my daughter.

Edit: There's a one day outing on southern Lake Michigan for June 4. Might be too far, but thought I'd mention it. Info is on GLWC section, 6 or 8 posts down the board. Need one more diver.
