Sad, sad news.
It doesn't look like we will make it up there for this one.
Having to work on Bronco, it overheats anytime I go over 45 mph.
Considered it, but it is just too far a trip at that kind of speed.
Don't write us off completely though.(crosses fingers and toes)
If I can fix it in time we'll be there Saturday.
I can't believe that I'm missing this event.
For me it has become a ritual and this leaves me so very sad.
If we don't make it up for this one, we'll see everyone in the fall.

This was an awesome Megadive with about 20 people present! A few of the ritualist attendees were not there and know that you were missed! The fireside activities were great with new initiations to the Order of the Grass Skirt being made! Although there was a lot of standing water in the surrounding woods, the vampires must have sensed the garlic or blood alcohol level and decided to stay away. Omelets in a bag went over well again. The river seemed to be clearing up very nicely and the Devil Run was very deep!
The prospective dates for the next Mega, OKTOBERFEST is looking like October 30 weekend. I am stating now that we will have a costume contests, and it will be themed "Pirate" in case anybody want to get into the fun. An actual theme name will be chosen from the comments made in threads throughout the next few months. We had an awesome time again. I hope everyone else did also.

I assume how you worded this that it does NOT overheat while idling? Check your catalytic converter and exhaust for restrictions. The radiator CAN cause this as well and it should be looked at for flow and efficiency.
For the OFFICIAL record, THIS WAS A BLAST! Rox and I drove up Saturday morning, stopped by Salvo (they close on Saturday), Extreme Exposure (they were open and MOST helpful) and then hit Ginny around 11:30. H2Andy and I sat on the bank watching several snakes (banded water and a rat), turtle porn and lots of coed buffoonery while everyone else went diving! 
It was good to reconnect with an old friend like that! (What's YOUR favorite color???)
We had an incredibly LAVISH dinner, and I am sure we could have fed the rest of the park with what was left over! Good job to the cooks and preparations experts.
This was my first Galaxy dive, and in reality I was expected to be way let down. How do you improve on nature? WOW! Cardzard and company surely know how to put on a show! That was awesome and worth the trip all by itself.
The campfire that followed was way fun too! Cuz, everybody was marshmallow fighting (do do do do do do do!) They was comin' at me fast as lightning! (do do do do do do do!) Sing along, you know the tune! Then we had the semi annual Ginnie Springs Caterwaul, led by our very own H2Andy on guitar accompanied by Jeno-Beano and myself attempting to fit in as many keys as we could manage into every tune. Hilarity ensued. The rum tote was there in all it's glory and everyone had a good time.
The only bummer was having to drive back home that night! I look forward to the Halloween Mega Dive!
