No funky tools or anything - just stab a hotdog crosswise on a stick, take a knife and cut it in half lenthwise about 3/8 of the way down. Then rotate one half turn, cut in half lengthwise again. Repeat on the other side, and you should have a stick stuck short-way through a weiner, and eight 'leg' bits.
Now hold over fire, cook - the little leggy bits are yummy.
