Is there any chance someone here has an extra tank I could borrow? Actually I might be fine, trying to figure out if I need to rent one or two. All of this is moot if my friend gets his four tanks back from the family friend who borrowed them and hasn't returned them in a while. It also depends on whether I can get the LDS to not charge me for all three days, since I'll be getting the tanks on friday night and returning them sunday...maybe a two day charge rather than three?

Why not just rent a tank at Ginny and not hassle the rest, you can get fills, and you would need those anyway.

I talked to Ginnie Springs today. Concerning the way that they want to work out the comp for the day of diving, they want us to pay, then do a refund at the end of the day. Unfortunately, the last time a cleanup was done, several people registered, got their free admission for the day, but did not actually participate in the cleanup. Thus they are a little leery this time around, especially considering that this is the first time that we have done this cleanup.

Concerning mesh bags, Ginnie did supply those to anyone who needed them at the cleanup I attended, but I have not confirmed that this will be the case this time. I will be talking to Ginnie again later this week, and I will bring this up.

JahJah, all that you will need will be one tank, as you can get it filled between dives.

I'll probably bring all of mine out of habit, if nothing else. Well, that, and I never know whether I'll end up hopping in Morrison or whatever on the way home.

Is there any springs in the area that are only accessable by boat? I was thinking that if there is (change of scenery, been to ginny many-o-times) I could possibly rig my canoe and motor to the roof of the car for the trip from Jax.

I MIGHT be able to make it there with out lossing it

It's almost depressing how helpful people are here. I mean, it doesn't depress me now, it depresses me when I get offline and have to deal with other people who aren't as nice. Maybe being narc'd makes you a nicer person. ?


Yeah, if the diveshop is open till 10, then, well I could fill at 10 and I'm sure there won't be many midnight dives.

Good to know we have to pay and get a refund, otherwise I might not have brought enough cash!

So the Friday night party is on the NACD ... Robin Green said $5.00 entrance fee for non members and be prepared to get a solicitation to join if you are not all ready a member .... hmmmm divergirl/cavediver ...
