So, while you all are getting drunk on rum (can we call it rum when it's NOT talk like a pirate day?) maybe those of us under the legal drinking age will plan a night dive :) I think that being underwater would protect us all from andy's guitar playin'......;) I'll bring ear plugs too.

^like I'm one to talk, if I had an acoustic it'd be with me--music is my first love. I think I can hover better than I can solo, and I can't hover very well, so I'll bring scuba gear and leave the drumkit, guitar and wall of amplification at home ;)

The drinking does NOT start until after the last dive, we are responsible divers and drinkers. :D
A night dive is always a good way to end the day!

I got my tent ... now all I need is a light .... fan ... bug spray
This is gonna be fun ... and it will be very close to 100th dive I am at 92 now ... fun fun fun

kim.. do it the easy way.. raid the Hurricane supplies! :D

Ok, so what group things are required? I understand typically we are fending for ourselves food-wise except the morning omelette making affair, just trying to work out what kinds of stuff (themes, ideas for group dining any night etc) might be needed.

my understanding is, covered dish/publix takeout. Everyone brings something to drop on the table. You don't need to feed an army, just bring enough for your group and a bit more. IE: snag a 6$ box of fried chicken at Publix. A 2 liter of soda now and then wouldn't be a bad idea. I'll have a few coolers on site so anyone wanting to bring ice is welcome to. There is a Winn-Dixie in high springs, so u can see what is there and/or needed when u arrive and then go get something.

A signup list may be preferable:

fried chicken-Deepseawolf,
baked beans-
soda-
chips-
marshmallows-
macaroni salad-
potato salad-Deepseawolf,
hot dogs/buns-
napkins-
plasticware-Deepseawolf
plates-
cups-

you get the idea... sign up, put a comma after your name in case anyone else wants to bring that item also. I have a LOT of plasticware from the previous megadives.

Cut and paste the list to your post with your additions. This may make it easier for people to decide what to bring.

I want to go. Camping with the scubaboard clan is always fun. I hope I don't get called to work.

We want you to come. Give Ken (DeepSeaWolf) your boss's phone #, we can than guaruntee that you will not be called in to work on that particular weekend. Maybe never, as far as that goes. :D

Are you saying bring something to every meal, or what? I'll probably just bring a loaf of bread, a jar of jelly and a jar of PB, along with a few knives :) And what's this thing about breakfast? I might have a friend coming with me, I won't know for a little longer. He was going to take an AOW type class that weekend but it got moved I think.

We generally do a community breakfast. There will be a variety of standard omelet ingredients set up in a buffet style. You pick up a ziploc baggie, add the ingredients of your choice, use a Sharpie to write your name and how many eggs you want on the bag. Then the cook(s) add the eggs and hang it into a boiling pot of water until it is done, then you eat it.

It sounds as though Ken has decided to set up a semi communal lunch on Saturday, kind of a everyone brings a dish type thing.
