I think that you might want to try and justify why you would prefer your equipment to be rigged as such. You have to usenderstand that none of those principles (of a double redundancy system) are taught anywhere. Most people rarely ever run into an instance where they use their octo, let alone a third. I believe that you are over complicating things and your insistance on the issue is resulting in the large controversy. Perhaps explain the justification of compromising your profile and snag potential on dives (as you described) that would require the redundancy even less than on regular dives.
