Good evening,
I am trying to determine if the VTX is able to monitor another divers air who has an Oceanic transmitter. I was able to enter my sons transmitter information into my VTX, but can not figure out how to view his pressure.
My sons computer is an Oceanic Atom 3.
Any input is appreciated.

The Atom 3.0 has the Buddy Check feature. Your son might be able to monitor yours and his. But, they took Buddy Check out of the Atom 3.1 due to a patent infringement lawsuit. I don't think they have that feature in the VTX and I'm guessing it's for the same reason.

I don't see it as a big deal because the transmitter range is so short. If you are close enough for your computer to read his transmitter, you can just ask him, or if you have good eyes, look at his computer.

Or you can ditch the VTX and replace it with a Perdix AI. It will read the Oceanic transmitter, and you can configure the display to show two transmitters at the same time. So, if you are close enough, you could see your tank pressure and your son's at the same time.

I have an Atom 3.0 and a Perdix AI and I use the same transmitters with both.
