I have recently purchase tha above PDC but was a little taken aback at the price of the download lead :11: £65

I reckon it is just a standard USB cable with a 3 pin plug affair that goes into the connector on the veo.

The $64,000 question is, does anyone know what the pinouts are on the oceanic pdc's and which of the following usb connections go to what:

USB Pinout
Type A Plug (for USB controllers and hubs)
------------------------------------------

Solder/crimp view (or socket view)

___________
1 2 3 4

-------------

Pin 1 +5V Red
Pin 2 -Data White
Pin 3 +Data Green
Pin 4 GND Black

The likelihood is I'll just chop the end of a std USB cable so I'll be left with the Red, White, Green and Black wires and screen to contend with.

Can anyone help?

No, not going to help with the jury rig, you can fry parts of the computer that way.

Check around and try to negotiate a better deal would be my recommendation

This is a DIY forum isn't it? Isn't DIY what this is all about? If he fries his computer then he contributes more money to Oceanic for a new computer.
