I just don't log dives
I just picked up one of these little MK2 clones and I'm going to rebuild it. The factory kit (which I don't have) has 4 o-rings, a seat and a cone filter. I suppose the Trident A240 seat is the one to use (and the one that will come in the aftermarket kit I bought), but according to the Trident catalog, it it is slightly bigger than the one that is in there now. The height of the one I have is 3.2mm and the Trident part is 3.38mm. The width of the current seat is 4.66mm and the Trident part is 4.82mm. Will the extra .16mm in the height present a problem in the reg's inner workings. On the width, I suppose the only issue will be forcing the seat into the piston.

Also, is there any problem with just flipping these piston seats? I can't imagine why there would be, but thought I'd ask.

Thanks.

The A240 should work fine. Don't worry about the performance because the seat might be slghtly longer. Of course you can flipp the seat. The AA70 would be the filter to use. Good luck.
