Oceanic shadow mask, mini or regular for my face?

I'm looking to buy my first mask and have decided upon the oceanic shadow mask but i have no idea which would fit me better and there is no one anywhere near me that supply them for me to try one on.

Is there any head measurements i could do? or is it just 'pot luck' whether i get one that fits?

I tried googling for hours to see if i could find a way to meausre or test if my face would suit the regular or mini better with no success.

can anyone help please?

Buying a mask without trying it is just asking for trouble.

Why do you want THAT particular mask? Far better off buying one you know fits from a shop where you can do that. A good mask is one that fits. Who makes it is irrelevant.

If you have an average sized face, I'd get neither. The Shadow is a great mask for people with wide temples (asian, pacific islander, many heavy set individuals often have a broader face) the mini was designed as a kids version that just happens to fit narrower than average adult faces quite well.

You should always try masks on first before puchasing. I've yet to see a mask that fits all faces, and there's so many skirt styles that with enough trying them on you'll have a good shot at finding a mask that fits better than all the rest.

I have a shadow which fits perfectly and I certainly don't have wide temples.

What I did was order 5 different masks I was interested in, and return 4 of them. Worked great.

Shadow is a great mask btw. Excellent FOV.
