Hey all,

Does anyone know and want to tell me how to adjust my Omega's cracking pressure? I want to tweak it a bit because it seams a bit tight but don't want to drag it back to the shop to do it.

-Mike

You adjust the lever height.

Through the Purge button with a hole in it, (Either a tool from Oceanic, or one you make). Turn in the screw till the reg leaks a little, then slowly turn it out until stops leaking.

Sometimes these get set really restrictive by dive shop techs to avoid the problem of free flowing too easily when on the surface.

I have not personally adjusted one them, just seen one, and talked to the tech that had it.

Drill a small hole in the center of the purge button, this will permit you to use a small screwdriver to adjust the cracking pressure.

The problem is that I don't see were the screwdriver goes... there isn't an adjustment screw on the block that the lever and spring are in.

A small hole in the button will not effect function, but will permit access for adjustment. Oceanic used to sell a button that was already drilled as an "adjustment tool."
