Oceanic - Omega 3 FDXI DVT M-Flex Clear - $499 (Gilbert, AZ)

I have a brand new Oceanic Omega 3, never been used, took it out of the box once. When i purchased it I didn't realize the hose couldn't be removed from the 2nd stage. Its a flex hose with a swivel which I don't care for. It is great for side mount setup (can be used on either side ) with the purge being on the side you will have a clear view in front of you at all times, great for taking pictures/video, high current dives. It is transparent so you can see inside the 2nd stage, pretty cool to see the workings inside.....I did not register it so that you can.......sorry but cash and local only!

It cost me $699.00 but I just want to get another regulator as soon as possible so you can have it for $499.00

Try taking it back for a refund or credit. They should have told you the hoses were proprietary.

Expensive lesson... wouldn't store credit be better than a $300 penalty? I have been diving the original Omega for around 30 years because it is still my favorite. I was dumbfounded when I learned about the proprietary hose here on Scubaboard. They claim they are coming up with an adapter.

Oh yes, a good lesson for sure! I did consider the store credit, still not sure what I want though...if i can't sell it within a few weeks i guess i ll ask for store credit....i have a long list of scuba gear i would like to get before than...
