Oceanic Octopus and a Stupid Question

I am looking at the Oceanic Swivel 180 Octopus and I was wondering if anyone uses it and has an opinion on it?

Now for the stupid question. What is the name of the hose that runs from the first stage to the power inflator on a BCD?

I have a buddy that is fond of the Oceanic 180.
